Malvern House College was founded in 2000. It is an independent college and was accredited by the British Council in 2003. The college specialises in teaching English, for both long-term and short-term students, as well as
longer-term programmes for professional qualifications or for entry into a UK university.
Today we teach over 6000 adult (16 years+) students per year, from over 100 countries. We offer those students a multicultural, dynamic atmosphere in which to learn and exchange ideas with others from many different cultural backgrounds.
Malvern House has 3 centres in the heart of London, close to major tourist attractions, tube and bus lines. Each centre is designed for a specific level and is equipped to meet the language needs of low, middle or advanced students.

Flights and transfer |
The flight and any other transportation to and from your destination is your own responsability. It is recommended to look around at the different air lines since they often have special offers and the prices can differ a great deal. If you have problems finding your flight please don't hesitate to ask us for assistance and we will do our best to help out.
Transfer to and from the various airports in and around London is not included in our prices. You can book this service if you'd like. If you book the transfer service please look for a school representative holding a sign with your name or the school's name on it.

What happens on the first day |
If you have not done the on-line test and been placed in a class, please arrive one hour before your allocated class time. Your welcome letter will tell you which centre to go to.
Upon registration, you will be given an exclusive Malvern House Welcome pack!
This is contained in a modern plastic folder designed for you to carry and file your work.
It includes the Malvern House Student Handbook, your student guide to living in London, including where to look for jobs, accommodation and things to do in London. The handbook also contains our terms and conditions.
You can come into Reception (Bloomsbury, Piccadilly or Trafalgar) at any time to take your test prior to your start date. You do not have to make an appointment.
On your first day please bring:
- 2 passport photos (1 if you are studying for less than 14 weeks)
- Accommodation questionnaire if you have booked accommodation with us.
- Confirmation of enrolment
- £10 for your course book
