 EC Cape Town, established in 2002, is located in a modern purpose-built building in the heart of the city centre. Within the immediate vicinity students will find everything they need, including internet cafés, shops, a post office, sandwich bars and more. All 15 classrooms are fully equipped; many of which have views of Table Mountain. The Café on the ground floor is a perfect place to enjoy a coffee.

 What is included? |
All booking fees, course material, airport transfer (return), welcome lunch, and free internet.

 Flights and transfer |
The flight and any other transportation to and from your destination is your own responsability. It is recommended to look around at the different air lines since they often have special offers and the prices can differ a great deal. If you have problems finding your flight please don't hesitate to ask us for assistance and we will do our best to help out.
Transfer between the airport and your booked accommodation is included in the price (arrival & departure). You will be met at the arrival gate by an EC representative with an EC sign. If you do not see the EC logo, please go to the Airport Information desk and call the emergency number: +27 (0) 843 374 334
Travel time from the airport to the school is approximately 20 minutes, but can take up to an hour if you are caught in rush hour traffic.

 What happens on the first day |
Placement Tests:
Once you arrive at the school you will sit a placement test. This usually takes place at 09:00. The placement test assesses your key language skills in all aspects of English (reading, speaking, listening, and written comprehension) and helps us place you in the right group for your ability.
Welcome Talk:
You will receive a Welcome Talk giving you details about your course and information that you will need throughout your stay. This will take place at 10:30 after your Placement Test.
Lessons:
After your placement test and welcome talk, you will go into class for your first lesson.
